What is important to remember is the idea that learning should be introduce to children in the most attractive way possible. This will greatly widen up the child's interests.
3. Be your child's model. As cliché as it may sound, but showing your children what you want them to become is a classic on learning reinforcement. It is a positive factor on a child's learning experience that they see their parents growing and constantly pursuing to learn at the same time. It is a good alternative that your work together with your kids and show them your outputs, in this way their knowledge will not be limited to what they see from their cohort for they will have someone to look up to.
4. Talk to your kids. One of the most common yet less understood parental issue is the lack of time parents spend to talk to their children. Parents have this thought that since they are older and more experienced; it is their prerogative to do whatever they want to their children. Although this is not entirely wrong, parents must always keep in mind that all relationship grows healthier once it is a two way communication process. Also, talking to your child and asking them questions about anything under the sun will help them open up and explore the world around them.
Helping them marvel on the world perhaps through using different kinds of kids toys and the natural phenomena around, while at the same time explaining how these occur is one of the best ways to nurture learning and strengthening bonding between parent and child. Parents will also have the idea and a clear picture on what their children are more inclined to and on what aspects they need to gather more interest on.
