Toy Logos Capture Hearts - Not Just Loyalty

Comfort is the foundation of creativity. If a toy company logo does not appeal to and put a child to comfort, it can't win the child's heart. It is therefore very important in getting your toy company's logo right and very targeted to the audience.

The key lesson is to target every aspect of your logo, from font size, to color that will appeal the target audience, the shape of the logo and design as a whole is narrowly targeted keeping in mind the age, gender and thought process of the child.

Furthermore I noticed how not every such company logo is aimed at just the kids. Some of them aim at parents too. Take Baby Einstein for example, it has a baby's image scribbled on top of a colorful logo which appeals to the kid. The parent is attracted towards the word 'Einstein', that is, it implies if the child plays with this toy company's toys he may turn out to be an intellectual.

Though some of the top 10 toy logos are aimed at young kids only; reason being that today's kids have more autonomy and decision making power within the family than in previous generations, so it is obvious that a child is more expressive about what he wants his parents to buy him. The child nags his parents to purchasing items that they may not otherwise buy.

Toy companies such as Hot Wheels are directly aimed at marketing to children creating pester power, because these toy companies know what a powerful force a child's nag for his favorite toy company store can be. All thanks to company logos for creating that kind of brand loyalty.
