Baby Einstein Animal Exploration Tunnel

Baby Einstein Animal Exploration Tunnel Review

The tunnel is a bit pricey for what is essentially decorated nylon and mesh attached to plastic. But it is a great design for newborns, because they are on their backs, yet items on the ceiling and/or across the room are too far away to keep their attention. It is the only thing that could keep my twins' attention (first for a 1/2 hour, up to an hour now)-- with, thankfully, no effort on my part. Unlike a crib mobile, this can be easily moved to any room, and you can move the hanging toys around. I gave it only four stars, because it could be made in a way that would make it more useful as a newborn gets to 4-5 months. First, they need to either provide or sell more toys of increasing complexity (tactile, squeeky, etc.). Second, it would have been useful to have items that could velcro to the sides (inside the tunnel), to give the newborns different things to touch, especially once they are spending time on their stomachs. Those changes would make it more of a value, in light of the cost. Still, I am very happy that I purchased it.

Baby Einstein Animal Exploration Tunnel Feature

• Mesh window panels along both sides encourage parent child interaction
• Tunnel includes flaps, textures, crinkle and real life imagery to create a unique crawling experience for baby
• Five developmental toys include red bird that "chirps", soft sun rattle, discovery flash cards, ring rattle, and water filled teether
• Eight sewn in loops plush eight Baby Einstein links included to reposition toys or add more of baby's favorite toys

Baby Einstein Animal Exploration Tunnel Overview

This four-foot-long tunnel is a perfect way for early crawlers to explore. As they make their way through the tunnel, they'll hear the crinkle of fabric leaves, while they play with five detachable toys-a chirping red bird, a soft sunshine toy with mirror, animal photo cards, a water-filled apple teether and a ring rattle.
