Editor's Opinion

"My son LOVES Little Einsteins and has really liked this toy. As other reviewers pointed out, the notes sung by the characters when the buttons along the top are pressed are not in tune, which can be bothersome, but my son barely uses those buttons at all (they don't add much to the functionality of the toy) and it strikes me as just an imperfect child's singing voice and is similar to how they sing on the show.

It has a variety of classical songs and each is introduced with the name of the composer - now my son recognizes the songs and composers when heard elsewhere! It is easy to change songs and you adjust the sound of the song by turning up and down the various instrument sliding buttons. The volume control buttons allow you to keep it from being too loud; we have found this to be a great car toy. If your child likes Little Einsteins I would recommend this."

Customer Reviews & Comments

My daughter loves it! - Amie Lawson - Somers, CT
My daughter got this for Xmas last year when she was 15 months old and she still loves it now at 2 years old. Being that it is a toy for small children I am really not worried about it being in tune. It sounds cute and my daughter loves it and it's a toy, so I think it is great and definietly recommend it.

Good Car Toy - AZmom - Arizona
Everytime my 3 year old son goes to the toy store, he plays with this toy. I wasn't about to pay full price for it (), because I didn't think it would hold his attention for long. I purchased the toy after it went on clearance. It is a wonderful take along toy. He loves to hear the different instruments: piano, bassoon, trumpet, harp, flute, and violin. I don't think the characters sound too off key as the other reviewers were complaining. My son is now learning and repeating the names of great composers (ie..."Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Johann Sebastian Bach"). Overall, it is an okay toy. It does not hold his attention for long, but he has always enjoyed music and seems to like listening to this toy.

Little Einsteins Birthday Party Ideas

Image : http://www.flickr.com

Little Einsteins is an excellent and informative show that helps children learn about the world around them. It teaches everything the children need to know and has helped prepare millions of children for their lives in school. It is so popular, that the show has become a phenomenon and children will be asking their parents for a Little Einstein themed birthday party.

So, how are you going to provide this type of birthday for them? It is no easy task, but it can be done with Little Einstein birthday party supplies, as well as various household craft objects.

Learning is Fun

One of the best things you can do is use the message of learning from the TV show, and turn it into fun at the birthday party. Do up some easy to answer questions and have candy as a prize for the kids. When they answer correctly, they get a piece of candy. Have the answers be something like What animal has tusks and big ears? Make sure everyone has a chance to answer, and everyone is able to get some of the candy. This is a fun game that will also help the children learn.

Watch the Little Einsteins

Kids love the television show, so while you are getting everything ready for the kids in terms of presents and food, why not let them watch the Little Einsteins television show on DVD. You can also have them watch some of the movies that have also been released. Not only will this keep them busy, but they will love watching them, and they will learn something while watching it. It is one of the best things you can do for the birthday party, and one of the easiest.

Invention Time!

This is a great activity because children can really let their minds and creative imaginations out for this. All you have to do is put cardboard, foam, cotton, streamers, paper plates and more on a table with some glue, and let the kids go wild making inventions, just like Little Einsteins. This activity is excellent for the children and they are going to have a lot of fun with it. See what they make and ask them to explain it, you will be surprised at some of the neat inventions they make.

By using these party ideas, you can provide your guests with a great Little Einsteins themed birthday party. Everyone will have fun, they will learn something and it does not have to cost you much to do it. Now that is a genius idea for a birthday!
